:: About conference

During twelve years, Women’s Health Conference has tried to address significant issues in women's health in the country through an interdisciplinary approach with a focus on public health aspects. Also, the International Congress on Social Studies in Health with a focus on social determinants of health has been able to strengthen the interdisciplinary discourse in social determinants of health during the past four years.

This year, regarding the importance of cyberspace in forming and affecting health from both positive and negative sides, we decided to hold the two conferences simultaneously with the focus on “Cyberspace and Health”.

Holding the two conferences at the same time contain multiple importance:

- The impact of cyberspace on individuals’ health

- The impact of cyberspace on public health

- The role of cyberspace in social health research

- Women’s health in cyberspace

By holding this conference, exchanging knowledge and experiences in the two fields of Women’s Health and Social Studies in Health would be possible and improve the community understanding of the relationship between cyberspace and public health.
